This lecture is an introduction about museum spaces and global trends of museum architecture. It will incorporate theoretical discussion and lots of examples (photos) to help audience better understand this interesting institution, museum.

Bio of Dr Geuntae PARK

Dr GeunTae Park is a museum scholar. His research interests include museum architecture and planning, culture and urban development, museum and heritage management, and public art/architecture. He is currently Associate Professor at School of Art and Design, Guangdong University of Technology in China. He was a curator at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, which is the only national museum in Korea dedicated to art, design, and architecture.
